The Gullah Society is a tax-exempt 501c3 nonprofit organization. With your help we are able to continue to work with communities to raise awareness and to preserve African descendant burial grounds, identity and history. We do this through research, documentation, programs and exhibition, for the benefit and education of all.

The Cemeteries Restoration Fund was launched on March 13, 2021, to generate funds restricted to targeted initiatives that restore and repair historically significant African-American burial sites in the Lowcountry.
